Paragon Book Gallery, leading provider of books and reference materials on Asian art and Asian studies, located at 1507 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, is accepting applications for a full-time or part-time position. Main duties include customer service, cataloging, and fulfilling client requests. Qualified applicants must have a background in Asian studies, speak fluent English and have strong spoken and written communications skills. Applications are now being accepted for Dialog’s Roger K. Summit
Scholarship for library and information science students in North
America. Interested students should start the process immediately: the
deadline is April 30 and the process cannot be completed overnight!
The US$5,000 award will be presented at the SLA Annual Conference in
Denver, Colorado, June 3-7, 2007. The award is named in honor of Dr.
Roger K. Summit, founder and chairman emeritus of Dialog, for his
outstanding contributions to the field of information science.
