Arlisnap is looking for someone or a small group of people to write a brief intro to blogging on wordpress.com for beginners, or to find an existing guide that we could link to.
Right now the Join for Free link is the only instruction we give new bloggers. Our Home page links to the Wikipedia article on blogging, which is more of a historical account than a how-to. The new, brief guide would replace this Wikipedia link.

The International Academy of Design and Technology is a design school in Troy Michigan offering bachelor and associates degrees in graphic arts, fashion design, interior design, digital media, and game design. We are seeking a part-time salaried librarian (20 hours per week) willing to work some late afternoon and evening hours. Qualified candidates must possess a Masters degree in library science or be within a semester of completing their degree. The final candidate must also successfully pass a background check. Preferred candidates will have a strong interest in the arts and be public service oriented. The part-time librarian in this position will work under the supervision of the head librarian on collection development, reference and public service, acquisitions, cataloging, faculty outreach, information literacy, and other duties as time allows.
