2008 Ontario Library Association’s Super Conference: Volunteer Opportunity

Hello,

With 2007 quickly coming to a close, it is time to think ahead to the Ontario Library Association’s (OLA) Super Conference.  The 2008 Super Conference will be held from Wednesday January 30 to Saturday February 2 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

For signing up as a volunteer, your conference registration is free for the day you volunteer.  Volunteering at the Conference also allows you the excellent opportunity to meet future employers, visit the exhibits and attend workshops.

Some of the duties you will be performing as a volunteer at the Super Conference will be: helping out at the registration desk; distributing the Daily News; giving directional help; handing out and tallying evaluation forms; changing signage; looking after the speaker’s room; etc. These duties are rotated among all the volunteers when possible.
