| POSITION SUMMARY: |
BVRL is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual who can contribute to the development of image collections supporting the curriculum in the College of Fine Arts and School of Architecture and Planning as part of a collaborative team. The selected applicant will become our digital assets specialist. Primary responsibilities may include providing general on- and off-site reference services and library instruction in support of teaching and learning. This individual will conduct day-to-day administration and user support of image management and delivery systems and serve as staff expert on architecture or another curriculum driven subject area for cataloging needs. The ideal applicant will have visual resources experience, know standards and trends, and have experience with complex relational databases. The Library Information Specialist 3 must have experience with managing digital image collections including digital image acquisition, cataloging, end user support and instruction. In addition, this person must be able to assist with day-to-day operations, including circulation, reference, and student employee supervision. | |||

| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
Bachelor’s degree; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
OR Master’s degree in Library/Information Sciences; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
