Arts campus libraries, including music and art have been closed as if they shouldn’t expect to get back into the buildings until August.

Posted: June 13, 2008 Filed under: Opportunities: Job Postings Comments OffTHE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking a candidate who will under the direction of the Technical Services Librarian, manage acquisitions and cataloging for 1500 current subscriptions in art and art history and approximately 7500 retrospective titles. Catalog serials and other library materials in any language using national cataloging standards, OCLC and Millennium; provide reference service as required.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE an ALA-MLS required with 2 – 3 years demonstrated experience or training in serials work, knowledge of art or art history, knowledge of European and/or Asian languages.
