Description:

SCAD Savannah seeks qualified applicants for the Jen Library access services librarian position. The person in this position is responsible for overseeing all operations of the circulation desk, including reserves; supervising work-study students; and maintaining library stacks. In addition, some reference desk hours are assigned. Qualifications required include an ALA-accredited M.L.S. degree; an undergraduate or graduate degree in art, art history, design or related field; excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of integrated library systems; familiarity with current copyright compliance issues; three years of library supervisory experience; and access services experience in an academic or public library setting, including some reference experience.
